‘100 Days My Prince’ follows the story of Crown Prince Lee Yool (EXO's D.O.), who suffers a severe injury during an ambush, leading to amnesia. Saved by Hong Sim's father, Lee Yool faces unexpected challenges when he learns that under a marriage decree, 28-year-old Hong Sim (Nam Ji-hyun) must wed or face punishment for remaining single. Over the span of 100 days, their bond grows stronger as they develop deeper feelings for each other. Kim Seon-ho portrays Jung Jae-yoon, the personal advisor to the Crown Prince, who struggles with prosopagnosia or ‘face blindness’. Despite this condition, he can only recognize Hong-sim's face, and harbors unrequited feelings for her.

Despite it being their first collaboration, their undeniable chemistry shines through in both intense and light-hearted scenes. Seeking peace, she journeys to the seaside village of Gongjin, opting to establish her own dental practice there. However, adapting to small-town life proves challenging, leading to frequent clashes with the town handyman, Hong Du-Sik (Kim Seon-ho), a respected figure known for his assistance to the locals. Despite their apparent differences, their paths frequently intersect, ultimately leading to an unexpected love story.
