The much-loved village drama ‘Panchayat’ is gearing up for Season 5. After the massive success of Season 4, the streamer has officially confirmed the next chapter. The announcement came with a poster shared on social media today.

She confirmed that the development has begun and said, “The writing has started.” She also revealed the expected timeline and added, “We’re hoping to start shooting either at the end of this year or sometime next year. If all goes well, fans can expect Season 5 around May or June 2026.”

‘Panchayat’ Season 4 ended with a major political shift in Phulera, as Kranti Devi defeated Manju Devi to become the new Pradhan. This change is expected to shape Season 5 with fresh rivalries and power games. Sachiv ji’s personal journey may also deepen, bringing emotional layers to the comedy.
