Huma Qureshi’s political saga 'Maharani Season 4' ends with one of the most dramatic cliffhangers of the series yet. Rani Bharti, once the Chief Minister of Bihar, sets her eyes on the ultimate prize which is the post of Prime Minister of India. But just when her moment of triumph seems near, tragedy and betrayal change everything.
This season took Rani from the heart of Bihar’s politics to the charged environment of Delhi, where she locked horns with Prime Minister Shree Sudhakar Sriniwas Joshi, played by Vipin Sharma. After being falsely accused of murdering Governor Govardhan Das, Rani resigns from her CM post and names her daughter Roshni (Shweta Basu Prasad) as her successor — a move that shocks her son Jai and her allies.
But the real heartbreak comes in the final episode. When Rani is moments away from becoming India’s Prime Minister. Her joy is short-lived as Mr. Joshi reclaims power, leaving Rani stunned. When she tries reaching Jai, he doesn’t answer. She later learn that Jai and his friend Rishi Agarwal have been found dead under mysterious circumstances.
Rani’s youngest son Surya (Darsheel Safary) later uncovers the truth which is that the postmortem report was falsified, and Jai was likely murdered. Rani vows vengeance.

If you are interested in watching 'Maharani' season 4, check out our review. Etimes gave the fourth season a rating of 3.5 out of 5 and an excerpt from our review reads, "Maharani Season 4 is a gripping yet uneven political thriller elevated by Huma Qureshi’s commanding presence and the emotional evolution of her character. Despite pacing hiccups and minor inconsistencies, the series remains one of the most engaging political sagas, proving that Rani Bharti, and the show itself, still has plenty of fight left in her."Top Comment
