Much like Vaani Kapoor’s portrayal of CIB officer Rea Thomas in the Netflix show, Bhumi steps into the shoes of DCP Rita Ferreira here, a cop driven by a quest for justice, yet shadowed by a troubling past that resurfaces. ‘Daldal’, adapted from Vish Dhamija’s hit novel Bhendi Bazaar, stars Bhumi Pednekar as the lead in this Amazon Prime Video original series. Directed by Amit Raj Gupta with Suresh Triveni among the producers, the psychological crime thriller premieres on the platform starting January 30, 2026.
