Daldal: Bhumi Pednekar plays a fierce cop in her OTT debut

Actress Bhumi Pednekar, who was recently seen in the thriller film 'Bhakshak', has marked her debut in the world of over-the-top (OTT) content with the upcoming series, 'Daldal'.

The new series, helmed by Amrit Raj Gupta, will see Bhumi Pednekar make her OTT debut. Taking to her Instagram handle, Bhumi dropped her first look from the show. She plays the role of Mumbai’s newly appointed DCP, Rita Ferreira.



Haunted by the guilt of her past and dealing with the demons of her present, a newly-appointed DCP, Rita Ferreira, must embark on an investigation of a series of murders that puts her on a collision course with a cold-blooded serial killer.

The show is based on Bhendi Bazaar by Vish Dhamija, and the screenplay is written by Sreekanth Agneeaswaran and Rohan D'Souza.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Bhumi was last seen in the thriller film 'Bhakshak'. It also starred Sanjay Mishra, Aditya Srivastava, and Sai Tamhankar, along with Bhumi Pednekar.
