As the viewers sat with a cup of tea to watch the reunion of their favourite reality show, the ‘Love Island USA’ season 7 cast did not disappoint in sharing the secrets and definitions. While the Islanders had winners amongst them, there were plenty of other conflicts to clear – from the rumours of infidelity and the relationships that turned to dust.
The 'Love Island USA' reunion and the drama that followed
Hosted by Andy Cohen and
Ariana Madix, the special had controversial dumpings and updates about the current relationship status. While the final couples, winners Amaya and Bryan, along with runner-ups Olandria and Nic, and Iris and Pepe, declared that they’re still together, the other couple who went to the finale – Huda and Chris – claimed that they were happy not being friends outside the villa, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Is Huda in a relationship?
In a question that made people gasp, Cohen asked Huda about the relationship, as she was seen with a man by her side at various red carpet events. The model responded that she was not allowed to speak about her relationship status due to legal contracts. “Legal reasons, I’m not allowed to speak. It’s Netflix. I’m not allowed to talk about it,” she said.
Bryan and the cheating allegations
Meanwhile, when Bryan was asked about how he felt about the constant cheating allegations from the fans, he said, “They’re trying to just throw any hate my way, and with the cheating video, the hosting I got paid to be there. I used to bartend back in the day. I had a lapse of judgment, and we’ve [he and Amaya] talked about it.” Amaya seconded him, citing that she’s not a woman who would be with someone disrespectful towards her. “I’m still with him, it’s clearly because the relationship dynamic is healthy and great,” she added.
The special aired on August 25 and will be available to stream only on Peacock.
