Whether it be making fun of a serious topic or adding thrilling components to it, there is a lot that can happen in a dark comedy. From ‘Fleabag’ to ‘Arrested Development’, here are some of the best dark comedy dramas that you can add to your watchlist right away.

This show follows a witty and uncaring woman in London as she navigates her everyday life while dealing with her emotions after the death of her best and only friend. ‘BEEF’ is another ongoing dark comedy drama series that you can add to your watchlist. The plot itself revolves around Danny Cho and Amy Lau, who get involved in a road rage accident. Over the next few episodes, a series of comedic yet dark turns of events set the path for their revenge against one another. Another great addition is ‘Russian Doll’ starring Natasha Lyonne. Based around a time loop genre, it follows Nadia, who gets hit by a taxi after her 36th birthday party, only to end up back in her bathroom as the party is about to start. Released in 2017, ‘The End of the F***ing World’ covers the story of James and Alyssa, who get fed up with their life and run away from home together. James is all about accepting his identity as a self-proclaimed psychopath. Alyssa becomes his first subject for a human kill; however, things take a turn when he accompanies her in running away from town together.
