Are you a 'Peaky Blinders' fan? Here's a list of similar shows to add to your watchlist

By order of ‘Peaky Blinders,’ Charlie Heaton was announced as the upcoming Shelby in an untitled spinoff series, with an unannounced release date for a bloodbath. However, a good crime series awaits no one. While the charm of the Shelbys brews, there exists a list of similar shows that promise to take the viewers on a political crime ride, while keeping them on the edge of their seats. From ‘Taboo’ to ‘Ozark,’ here’s a list of similar shows to watch until you can watch the sequel series of ‘Peaky Blinders.’

2/7

'Taboo'

From the pages of the 1800s, ‘Taboo’ takes the viewers into the rabbit hole of power struggles, family pride, and legal crumbles. Created by Steven Knight, the show revolves around James Delaney, who has returned to Britain after spending a decade in Africa. However, he owns a certain land spot that is valuable to the East India Company. The only question: was his father murdered to gain the property rights, thinking Delaney was dead as well? Starring Tom Hardy, Stephen Graham, and Jessie Buckley, the eight-episode series that was released in 2017 can be watched on Prime Video.

3/7

'A Thousand Blows'

With creators like Steven Knight (‘Peaky Blinders’) and Stephen Graham (‘Adolescence’), the period drama promises to give an epic story. Set in the 1800s, the show is based on the rivalry around underground boxing. Keeping the power struggles between a Jamaican immigrant, who wants to prove his place, and a trained fighter who has marked his territory with blood, the series can’t help but display outstanding punches. Meanwhile, the all-female pickpocket gang has plans to pull a full-blown heist, according to TV Line. Starring Erin Doherty, Stephen Graham, and Malachi Kirby, the 2025 drama can be binge-watched on JioHotstar.

4/7

'Boardwalk Empire'

Diving into the American period drama, ‘Broadway Empire’ revolves around the Prohibition period of the 1920s and 1930s. Enoch ‘Nunky’ Thompson, a prominent figure of Atlantic City, has ties with gangs, mobs, government officials, and common people – and the federals are now interested in him. They have decided to sniff him up and get to know his lifestyle through agents. Created by Terence Winter and backed by Martin Scorsese, ‘Broadway Empire’ stars Steve Buscemi, Michael Pitt, and Kelly Macdonald. The 2010 TV series can be binge-watched on JioHotstar.

5/7

'Gangs of London'

Here’s a modern ‘Peaky Blinders’ to your rescue! ‘Gangs of London’ believes that the throne can never be left alone – someone has to be undefeated to have the honor. The city of London turns into chaos after a sleek power struggle between international gangs, when a powerful patriarch is assassinated. With brutal fights and action sequences, the show is explosive and entertaining. Created by Gareth Evans and Matt Flattery, the series stars Joe Cole, Sope Dirisu, and Michelle Fairly. The three seasons can be watched on JioHotstar.

6/7

'Ozark'

If it’s about smuggling narcotics, the shows know how to be worth the audience’s attention. Created by Bill Dubuque, the series revolves around a financial planner who has to move to the city of Ozark after a Mexican drug deal goes wrong. Starring Jason Bateman, Laura Linney, and Sofia Hublitz, the accountant now has to launder USD 500 million in five years, or the consequences will persist. The 4-season show can be watched on Netflix.

7/7

'Yellowstone'

‘Peaky Blinders’ but make it cowboy themed. Created by Taylor Sheridan, ‘Yellowstone’ revolves around the intricacies of land deals in Montana. As the corporations attempt to take the place through criminal tactics, the family has to put in their best efforts to fight for their land. Starring Kevin Costner, Luke Grimes, and Kelly Reilly, the 5-season western drama can be watched on JioHotstar.
