man stuffing clothes into a donation container stumbled on a rather bizarre sight ! While he called firefighters to protect a "cat" that turned out to be a battery-operated toy!


Alan McElligott, a professor at the College of Roehampton in London, tweeted photographs of an interesting incident that unfurled after he put a few things into the canister and heard a loud "

meow

."

"The fire brigade in the long run turned up and utilized their overwhelming devices to open it. Once it was opened there was no sign of the cats so the

firefighter

looked around and moved a few pieces of clothing around and picked up the toy cat," he tweeted.

"I went to a recycling bin to dump old clothes. heard the cries of a cat inside, so called

local police

to get it out. Police confirmed cat cries. 90 min later, Fire Brigade came to break open the bin. the “cat” turned out toy, battery-powered one, with very convincing meows!," McElligott captioned his post.
