The Indian Coast Guard is all prepared to handle any adverse situation in the wake of cyclone Biparjoy. Inspector General Manish Pathak, Deputy Director General (Operations) of the Indian Coast Guard gives detail on the prevention measures taken and the advisory issued in the wake of Cyclone Biparjoy, says, "The Indian Coast Guard has taken all the preventive measures. We have warned all the fishermen. Further, our ships have relayed the message to all the mariners, and the port authorities to come back to safer areas. Further, our regional operating centres and the radar stations also have been also transmitting to all the mariners to come back to safer locations." Meanwhile, Indian Coast Guard Advanced Light Helicopter Mk-III airlifted 11 personnel from jack-up rig 'Key Singapore' operating off Dwarka to Okha, Gujarat.
