Mrunal Thakur rose to fame with her performance in her Telugu debut ‘Sita Ramam’ starring alongside Dulquer Salmaan. The actress has been part of multiple Telugu and Hindi films and recently shared her eagerness to work in different languages when she finds the best scripts.

Balancing Hindi and South films

As per a report by PTI, the ‘Hi Nanna’ actor says she has made a clear choice to work in both Hindi and South films. She said, “When I started my career, there were so many things on the planner. Now, when the time is right, I want to give my all out and balance both the industries.” She feels this is the right phase of her life. She wants to grow slowly and do work that feels right to her heart.

Waiting for the right Tamil script

The actor shared that she wants to enter Tamil cinema too. She said she is listening to many stories. But she is careful. “The debut with ‘Sita Ramam’ has set the benchmark so high. I’m waiting for the best Tamil script,” she said. Mrunal Thakur added that language does not matter to her. “What matters is the emotion. I’m comfortable with Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam.”

Upcoming Hindi films

On the work front, Mrunal Thakur has multiple films in her kitty. She will be seen in the Hindi film ‘Do Deewane Seher Mein’, directed by Ravi Udaywar. She stars opposite Siddhant Chaturvedi.
She also feels proud to be part of ‘Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’, directed by David Dhawan, with Varun Dhawan and Pooja Hegde. On the other hand, she will also be seen in the upcoming action thriller, ‘Dacoit,’ starring Adivi Sesh, directed by Shaneil Deo. This will be the first time she will be seen in an action-packed role. Additionally, she is also rumoured to be in the Allu Arjun and Atlee film, ‘AA22xA6’. Reacting to the rumours, she said, “I want to be (part of it). After watching ‘Pushpa 1’ and ‘Pushpa 2’, and all the films Allu sir has done, and his dancing, and rhythm... I'm just a big fan of Sir. I've interacted with him a couple of times, and I can say that as a person, he's very kind and genuine. I’m manifesting it.”
