Varun Gandhi files defamation case for controversial remarks against his father

BJP MP Varun Gandhi has filed a defamation case against an individual for an "inappropriate" tweet targeting his father, the late Sanjay Gandhi. The case has been filed in the district court of Pilibhit, Uttar Pradesh, against one Vivek Pandey of Varanasi. Gandhi refused to discuss the matter with reporters as it is sub-judice.
