Operation Kaveri: Indians narrate what they saw in Khartoum's violence, unrest

After days of living under the shadow of the gun and uncertainty, they are out of Sudan and back home, relieved they are alive. But the last few days have been nothing short of a nightmare. India's Operation Kaveri, the mission to get all Indians and PIOs stuck in Sudan back home to safety has seen thousands return home. The Indian Air Force and the Indian Navy along with the MEA have played a crucial role in rescuing Indians from strife-torn areas. The operation is likely to continue for a few weeks at least to rescue every Indian in Sudan.
