Neiphiu Rio: Nagaland is a troubled state, opposition-less government will help to resolve issues

Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio is in Delhi today. He called on Prime Minister Modi to thank him for his support. Rio leads an opposition-less government in Nagaland, where his party won 25 seats. His party, the NDPP is in alliance with the BJP. BJP won 12 seats in Nagaland. Even Sharad Pawar's NCP and its seven MLAs have announced support for the Rio-led government in Nagaland. CM Rio has said that an opposition-less government will help solve pressing issues that the state is grappling with, including the Naga issue, ENPO issue, pending issue of delimitation.
