The world is round for former vice president of the Delhi Congress, Ali Mehdi who changed parties within hours. Ali Mehdi and 2 councillors announced their return to Congress just hours after joining AAP. They later also issued an apology in a video message. Posting a video on social media, Mehdi said he made a mistake by crossing over to the AAP. He asserted that he is a 'loyal worker' of the Congress and Rahul Gandhi. Mehdi and 2 councillors, Sabila Begum and Nazia Khatoon joined the AAP on Dec 9. After they joined the AAP, residents of Mustafabad staged a protest. Congress alleged that AAP was trying to ‘lure' some other party councillors also.
