'Delhi trusts Ajit Pawar, Eknath Shinde may be axed': Prithviraj Chavan

Amid the ongoing political turbulence within the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) in Maharashtra, former Chief Minister and senior Congress leader Prithviraj Chavan claimed that the decision to bring Ajit Pawar on board was made in Delhi. Chavan expressed the belief that a decision against Eknath Shinde in the ongoing Vidhan Sabha action may lead to his suspension. He speculated that if the 16 MLAs and the Chief Minister step down, Ajit Pawar might be entrusted with the responsibility. Chavan expressed concerns about the prevailing uncertainty and its negative impact on the state of Maharashtra.
