Chennai: City's longest flyover thrown open by CM MK Stalin

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin inaugurated the city's longest flyover, Medavakkam on May 13. The second arm of the three-lane unidirectional flyover spanning 2.3 km connects Tambaram and Velachery. The opening of the flyover will facilitate flow of vehicular traffic and reduce travel time. This marked the completion of the twin three-lane unidirectional flyovers. The first flyover that runs a distance of 1.06 km was thrown open to the public last year.
