In a major twist ahead of CSK’s next IPL 2025 clash, Ruturaj Gaikwad has been ruled out due to an elbow injury, prompting the return of MS Dhoni as captain. Coach Stephen Fleming confirmed the change, calling on Dhoni's legendary leadership to guide the struggling five-time champions, currently placed ninth. Dhoni, who last captained CSK to their 2023 title, steps back into the role with full commitment.
