West Bengal Teachers Recruitment Scam: HC orders CBI to secure SSC office in special hearing

A new development has occurred in the West Bengal Teachers' Recruitment Scam. In a special hearing held on Wednesday Night, Calcutta High Court directed the Central Bureau of Investigation, CBI to secure the School Service Commission, SSC Office in Kolkata. A special hearing was conducted by a bench comprising of Justice Gangopadhyay after it came to notice that the SSC Chairperson, Siddhartha Majumdar stepped down as chief, only after a short four months in office. As per sources, Subhra Chakraborty, an IAS officer has been appointed as the new SSC Chairperson.
