Two days after the major blast in West Bengal’s East Medinipur, BJP leader Dilip Ghosh on May 18 reached the blast site and met the victims’ families. The blast at the illegal firecracker factory claimed the lives of 9 persons and several were critically injured. While speaking to ANI, Dilip Ghosh said that it is clear how serious the government is to hide this crime.Dilip Ghosh said, “The accused was arrested, but the police took 3 days to investigate. After such a heinous crime, the locals themselves saw him going to Odisha. He has just been charged with Rs 200-1000. It is clear how serious the government is to hide this crime.”
