TN: Income Tax Department conducts raid at Ashok Residency owner’s house in Annanagar

Income Tax Department conducted a raid at a Real Estate Group Ashok Residency’s owner’s house in Annanagar, Chennai, on February 14. The IT Department raided more than 25 places across Chennai. Raids were conducted over the tax evasion case. A total of 12 Income Tax officers conducted the raids. They are conducting inspections at 50 locations of Ashok Residency across Tamil Nadu. Four Real Estate Groups, Aditya Ram properties, Ambalal Real Estate, Ashok Group of Companies, and Radiance Realty are under the radar of the Income Tax Department due to tax evasion.
