“Situation becoming more secure..” EAM Jaishankar after India resumes E-Visa services for Canadians amid rift

External Affairs Minister Dr. S Jaishankar stated on November 22 that E-Visa services for Canadians have resumed, citing improved security conditions. He mentioned the temporary suspension of visa issuance due to challenges faced by Indian diplomats in Canada. Dr. Jaishankar expressed that with the situation becoming more secure or relatively improved, it has become feasible to progressively resume visa services.
