Now, Waqf Board Chairman Zufar Ahmad Farooqui admits, 'Ram Mandir was on Babri site.' Waqf Board Chairman said: One important thing I can understand is that people refer to demolition of Babri Masjid as a black day. The archaeological report of 2003 says that there was a structure which resembled a temple beneath the masjid. That report says that there was a temple. Now what I am saying is completely off the record because I am a party and I cannot speak against my own side. May be it is true that there was a temple.'
