Rahul Gandhi reminds nation of Mahatma Gandhi's principle of 'non-violence'

As the nation is witnessing violent incidents across the nation, Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Saturday said the principles of Mahatma Gandhi are the base of India. He implied that hate and violence is not the way of the nation. "Bapu's ideals are the foundation of independent India. Our country has always set an example of truth, non-violence and brotherhood in front of the world. Hate and unrest is not our way. It is the responsibility of all the countrymen to unite India and maintain mutual goodwill," said Gandhi in a tweet.
