Priyanka Chaturvedi welcomes Women Reservation Bill, hopeful for women's empowerment

Priyanka Chaturvedi, representing Shiv Sena (UBT), expressed a warm welcome to the Women Reservation Bill on September 19. She expressed hope that this bill would empower women and grant them parliamentary representation."The Women's Reservation Bill, which should have been enacted many years ago, is now being passed after 9 and a half years of the Modi government. It was included in the 2014 manifesto. While we welcome the bill, its actual impact will be assessed when it is implemented in the House. Currently, we have only heard about it through unofficial sources. We hope this bill will quickly pass, ensuring women their rightful place in the House, and be in effect for the 2024 elections," Priyanka Chaturvedi stated.
