President Droupadi Murmu visits Similipal Tiger Reserve in Mayurbhanj

During her visit to Odisha, President Droupadi Murmu explored the Similipal Tiger Reserve in Mayurbhanj, an area known for its diverse wildlife and rich biodiversity. The tiger reserve is home to rare melanistic tigers, also known as black tigers, and serves as their only natural habitat in the world.In addition to her visit to the tiger reserve, President Murmu also laid the foundation stone for a Skill Training Hub and Community Centre at Pahadpur on May 5. The President also launched the 'Addiction Free Odisha' campaign at the Brahma Kumaris Centre in Hatbadra.
