PM Narendra Modi holds roadshow in Agartala

PM Narendra Modi held a roadshow in Agartala, before the oath taking ceremony. Dr Manik Saha took oath as the Tripura chief minister for a second consecutive time Wednesday after the BJP emerged victorious in the Legislative Assembly polls held on February 16. Eight other leaders, including four new faces, were sworn in as ministers. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP president JP Nadda and the party’s top brass attended the oath ceremony at Swami Vivekananda Maidan in Agartala. Chief ministers of Assam, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim — Himanta Biswa Sarma, N Biren Singh, Pema Khandu and Prema Singh Tamang — were the other notable attendees.
