Perpetrators must be sent to jail: NSUI

Perpetrators who vandalised Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s portrait in JNU must be sent to jail and should be banned from the university campus, said NSUI Incharge Vinay Yadav. “NSUI doesn’t believe in violence and we always work for peace. NSUI has never done violence on campus. It falsely made that statue was vandalised and I don’t think any organisation will pre-plan this. it is only made in that way to divert the issue. If this kind of thing happened, they should have a complaint to the Police and college administration. This is not your work to pelt stone whoever has done this must be sent to jail and should be banned from the university campus,” he added.
