Pawar vs Pawar: Fight for real NCP between Ajit Pawar, Sharad Pawar begins

The crisis in NCP is escalating after Sharad Pawar, Ajit Pawar called separate meetings on July 05. A show of strength began between the two factions of NCP after a major political coup in Maharashtra. Supporters of NCP Chief Sharad Pawar have gathered outside YB Chavan Centre ahead of the meeting. NCP working President Supriya Sule, and Anil Deshmukh reached YB Chavan Centre to attend the meeting. Sharad Pawar faction claimed a huge number of support of MLAs ahead of the meeting. Meanwhile, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar reached MET Bandra to chair the meeting. NCP leaders, Praful Patel, Chhagan Bhujbal and others reached MET Bandra in Mumbai to attend the meeting. NCP suffered a split on July 02 with Ajit Pawar joining the NDA-led Maharashtra govt along with 8 other MLAs. Eknath Shinde government in Maharashtra has expanded with the induction of 9 more ministers. Sharad Pawar has moved a disqualification petition against 9 MLAs to Maharashtra Assembly Speaker.
