Amit Shah Announces Tea Wage Hike, Temple Funding And Gorkha Promises In Bengal
At a public rally in Jalpaiguri, Amit Shah announced key promises aimed at tea workers, Gorkhas and regional communities in West Bengal. He said the BJP would raise tea plantation wages by over ₹500 within 2.5 years, allocate ₹50 crore for Jalpesh temple development, and push for inclusion of the Rajbanshi language in the 8th Schedule. Shah also accused the TMC of neglecting Gorkha interests and promised to withdraw cases filed against them.
