Syria’s military says artillery shells fired from Lebanon landed near Saraghaya, west of Damascus, accusing Hezbollah of targeting Syrian army positions. Damascus says it has detected Hezbollah reinforcements along the Syrian-Lebanese border and is closely monitoring the situation. The army warned it could respond to attacks on Syrian territory while coordinating with the Lebanese army. Meanwhile Israeli strikes continued across southern Lebanon, including areas in Tyre, Nabatieh and Bint Jbeil districts.
