MoS I&B L Murugan hails ‘Jaffna Cultural Centre’ as iconic

Union Minister of State for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Information and Broadcasting L Murugan on February 11 participated in the dedication of Jaffna Cultural Centre to the people of Sri Lanka. He hailed it as iconic. L Murugan said, “It is a very historical day in the relationship between India and Sri Lanka. This Jaffna Cultural centre we dedicate to the people of Jaffna. It is a unique and iconic centre. Its foundation stone was laid by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in March 2015.” “Today’s event to dedicate the Jaffna Cultural centre to the people of Jaffna represents the pinnacle between the people of India and Sri Lanka. This iconic structure is built with the assistance of the Government of India Assistance,” Gopal Baglay Indian High Commissioner to Sri Lanka said.
