Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant-Governor Manoj Sinha on December 18 said that under the Prime Minister Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP) scheme, more manufacturing units were set up in Jammu and Kashmir than in Maharashtra, Gujarat and Karnataka. “Under the PMEGP scheme, more manufacturing units were set up in Jammu and Kashmir than in Maharashtra, Gujarat and Karnataka. Jammu and Kashmir is one of the top states in Start-up ranking,” said LG Manoj Sinha in Mumbai.
