Mehbooba Mufti slams Centre’s decision to observe Partition Horrors Remembrance Day

PDP leader Mehbooba Mufti slammed the Centre for the latter's decision announcing August 14 to be observed as Partition Horrors Remembrance Day. "Heartening to see Indian & Pak soldiers exchange sweets on Independence day & behave like two civilised nations. Sadly such happy occasions are eclipsed & marred by divisive decisions to observe partition day by reopening old wounds & taking away from the celebrations of the day."she tweeted.
