Kochi: Kerala Health Minister, inaugurates new facilities at Ernakulam Govt Medical College Hospital

Kerala Health Minister, K K Shailaja inaugurated the newly introduced facilities at Ernakulam Government Medical College Hospital through video conference. The new facility features futuristic ICUs and is well equipped with ventilators and ECMO machines. Up to 70 patients can be treated in the facility at a time. A special unit for 40 critical COVID-19 patients has also been set up. The 24x7 labs have been upgraded with a capacity of handling I000 RT-PCR tests per day. An imaging centre has also been set up.
