An Iranian strike on a power and water desalination facility in Kuwait has killed an Indian worker and caused significant damage, the Gulf nation’s electricity ministry said on Monday. A ministry spokesperson, Fatima Abbas Jawhar Hayat, described the attack as part of Iranian aggression, targeting a service building at the plant. The strike not only claimed the life of the Indian worker but also inflicted major material damage to the infrastructure, raising concerns over energy security in the region.
