India exceeds combined cashless payments of US, UK, Germany, France: IT Minister

India has emerged as a leader in the creation of digital assets, while other developed countries are facing problems. After demonetisation, the digital payment landscape in India has been transformed. Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw at World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos informed that India’s digital payments transactions last year were more than the combined digital payments of the US, UK, Germany, France. He said, “India's digital payments transactions last year were more than the combined digital payments of four big economies- US, UK, Germany, France.”
