“How can Hindi be a uniting force? ": TKS Elangovan

In response to Home Minister Amit Shah's remarks about the Hindi language, Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam leader TKS Elangovan accused him of disrespecting speakers of other languages. Elangovan questioned the purpose of imposing Hindi when only 7 states use it, emphasizing that each region has its own language. Earlier, on 'Hindi Diwas,' Amit Shah stated, "Hindi serves as a unifying force for India's diverse languages, playing a vital role in our democracy since the independence movement."
