Haryana Roadways employees to go on day-long strike today

Haryana Roadways employees have announced to go on strike on Wednesday The Haryana Roadways workers union have accused the state government of ignoring their demands of withdrawing private buses from their routes The Haryana Government on August 30th invoked the Haryana Essential Services Maintenance Act (ESMA) for six months that prompted employees to go on the proposed strike The ‘chakka jam’ stir would suspend the services of 4100 buses running on 3800 routes across Haryana and nine other states Haryana’s transport minister Krishan Lal Panwar said that measures had been put in place to ensure law and order in the state
