Guilty! CPWD to pay Rs 5,000 for not providing dustbin

Not providing garbage bins for disposal in a government residential colony amounts to deficiency in service, Central Public Works Department (CPWD) learnt this the hard way after a Delhi consumer court found it guilty and asked it pay Rs 5,000 to a resident.
