Goa first state to follow Uniform Civil Code: CM

Goa chief minister Pramod Sawant on Saturday noted that his state is the first state to follow Uniform Civil Code. He said he feels proud that the state is following UCC since India's Independence. He also said that the UCC plays a very important role in women empowerment.
