EC seeks full transcript of PM Narendra Modi's speech in Wardha

The Election Commission has sought Prime Minister Narendra Modi full speech’s transcript from Maharashtra CEO. The commission's move comes after the Congress party lodged a complaint, saying that ‘hateful and divisive’. The grand old party objected to the prime minister’s “majority is minority in Wayanad” jibe during a public rally in Wardha. The opposition parties have termed it as a violation of model code. Now, the Election Commission will look into the transcript and ascertain if there was any violation of model code of conduct.
