Rahul Gandhi hit out at Arun Jaitley’s Budget proposals, saying the ruling BJP
has failed to keep any of its poll promises made to farmers and the youth.
Sashi Tharoor said that barring the agriculture sector, the Budget had left
everyone else disappointed. On the other hand, BJP leaders as well as NDA
allies welcomed the Budget, saying it had some path-breaking initiatives for
the farmers and the poor.
