A war of words broke out between BJP and Chhattisgarh CM Bupesh Baghel after BJP General Secretary D Purandeswari made a controversial remark on the state government. While addressing BJP workers in Chhattisgarh. She said if her party workers “spit”, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and his cabinet will get “swept away”. Purandeswari's statement triggered a controversy. Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel said he did not expect such a statement from the BJP leader.
