Assam: GTAC celebrates International Tea Day in Guwahati

Guwahati Tea Auction Centre (GTAC), along with GTAC Tea Lounge celebrated International Tea Day in Guwahati with the various stakeholders of the tea industry on May 21. GTAC is celebrating 200 years of Assam Tea. To commemorate the occasion, GTAC Tea Lounge opened a kiosk to distribute one of the best quality CTC/Orthodox/Green Tea to the general public free of cost. International Tea Day, is a globally recognised observance that celebrates the rich tea industry, its cultural significance, and health benefits of tea. It is a day dedicated to raising awareness about the tea industry, its impact on economies, and the diverse range of teas available worldwide. GTAC is the second-largest auction centre in the world.
