After FDI, Chinese companies now face curbs in getting govt contracts

An Indian-flagged oil tanker, Jag Laadki, has safely reached Mundra Port after navigating one of the world’s most volatile maritime zones. Carrying 80,800 metric tonnes of crude oil, the vessel departed from Fujairah Port just hours after a strike hit the oil terminal. Despite rising tensions across the Strait of Hormuz, the tanker continued its journey under tight security. Reports suggest an Indian naval escort ensured safe passage through the Gulf of Oman. This marks the third Indian vessel in three days to return safely from the conflict-hit region.
