The United States has launched large-scale attacks in Yemen, reportedly striking the command cabin of the Galaxy Leader, an Israel-linked ship hijacked by Houthi rebels in November 2023. According to Houthi media, the U.S. also bombed a cotton ginning factory in Hodeidah as part of its latest air raids. The Galaxy Leader, owned by a UK company with partial Israeli ownership, was captured in a daring helicopter-borne raid by Iran-backed militants. After its seizure, the vessel was turned into a tourist attraction, with footage of the hijacking going viral.
