Tried to kill Imran Khan as he is misleading people, confesses gunman

Assailant, who opened fire at former Pakistan prime minister Imran Khan, said that he wanted to kill the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader as he is misleading the people. The incident was reported during an anti-government protest march led by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief in Islamabad to demand snap elections. Imran Khan sustained bullet injuries on his leg said he got a second lease of life and will continue to fight.
