After films and music videos, actress Tanisha Singh turns entrepreneur in Dubai

After doing small roles in Hindi and South films, including Sadhu Mirani and Door Bell, and featuring in music videos across multiple languages, actress Tanisha Singh is charting a new course as an entrepreneur in Dubai’s real estate sector. A former Miss India Runner-Up (2004), Tanisha built a career spanning Hindi and South cinema, alongside a strong presence in the music-video space. She has also worked as a host, anchor, singer and producer, and previously fronted the Instagram talk show Tea with Tanisha Singh, where she interviewed celebrities and industry insiders. Reflecting on her film journey, Tanisha says, “Films have given me visibility and confidence. Working in both South cinema and Bollywood taught me discipline and adaptability, and music videos helped me connect with audiences in different languages. That foundation encouraged me to explore something beyond acting.” She is now actively involved in real estate planning in Dubai, focusing on helping Indian investors tap into the city’s fast-growing property market. Her work spans acquisition planning, investment structuring and market guidance, with an emphasis on long-term value and rental potential. On balancing cinema and business, Tanisha shares, “I don’t see this as leaving films behind. Acting will always be part of me. But entrepreneurship gives me another creative outlet. Real estate, like cinema, is about understanding people’s aspirations and helping them make the right choices.” Talking about why Dubai appealed to her, she adds, “Dubai is a global hub with transparent systems and strong infrastructure. For Indian investors, it offers stability and opportunity. I wanted to bridge that gap and guide them with clarity and trust.”
