Kyiv fears being sidelined as the meeting is set to proceed without Zelensky’s presence. EU urged Washington to resist any Russian “land swap” demands and protect Ukraine’s sovereignty. Moscow dismissed the talks as “insignificant” and accused the EU of sabotaging peace efforts.
